Seacoast Roofing & Exterior's Managing Director, Vincenzo Nastasia, delivered a crucial message on WMUR evening news last night regarding the significance of snow removal from roofs before the forecasted rain. With new precipitation expected, allowing rain to accumulate on melting snow can potentially cause trouble.
"I say it all depends, but with having over a foot and a half of snow that we got, I would recommend shoveling your roof, because that is a lot of weight that is on your framing," said Vincenzo Nastasia, of Seacoast Roofing and Exteriors. "And if you have a significant rot, that can lead into your ceilings collapsing and whatnot," Nastasia said.
